Mending Priestly Garments & Liturgical Items

It was totally more than I expected. God opened up for me areas of brokenness that I thought would never be healed. Firm, but with gentleness, the director followed the promptings of the Holy Spirit, leading me into freedom I had not experienced before…a real turning point in my discernment and spiritual life. The Exercises moved me into a new phase of my life. So grateful!- Kathy, (participant in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius)

Two years ago, in 2024, I had a dear friend ask me to join her on a 4-day Women’s Silent Retreat in January. After my initial response of “I like to talk too much; I don’t think I could be silent for 4 days,” with prayers and God's prompting, I attend. To my great surprise, I was able to be silent and hear the prompting of the Holy Spirit while seeking the Lord in the silence.

One of the hermits of the Handmaid's was the leader of the Wholeness in the Father's Love Women’s Silent Retreat. The team provided daily sessions on various topics to draw us closer to the Lord, Spiritual Direction, Healing Prayer, daily Mass and adoration, confession, and so much more. They also provided check-ins to see how we were doing, prayers, and support during the retreat. There was plenty of individual time to pray, reflect, journal and sit in the presence of our Lord. Because of this retreat, I made a re-commitment to myself and to our Lord, and began monthly spiritual direction and confession, which has enriched my faith journey."

"Every retreat is formed for those coming and will be different. Prayer is key, and the team was constantly doing this. This was the best silent retreat I have ever attended. Thank you."
